This Cookie Notice explains how HANSOL BIO Co., Ltd. ("Hansolbio", "we") uses cookies, browser local storage and similar technologies on this website (lab.hansolbio.com), and how you can control them. For how we handle personal information in general, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and reads on later visits. Local storage is a storage area in your browser that a website can use to keep information on your device. Information in local storage stays on your device and is not sent with every page request.
2. Essential cookies
Our store runs on Shopify. Shopify sets the cookies needed for the store to work:
- Cart: remembers the items in your cart.
- Checkout: keeps your checkout session and order details while you pay.
- Security: protects the store and your session, and helps prevent fraud.
- Consent: records the choice you made in the cookie banner.
These cookies are always active because the cart, checkout and security of the store cannot work without them. For the names and lifetimes of the cookies Shopify sets, see Shopify's cookie information.
3. Analytics and marketing cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how the website is used. Marketing cookies help measure advertising and show relevant advertising. We use these cookies only after you accept them in the Shopify cookie banner. If you reject them, or make no choice, they are not set.
4. Local storage used by this website

This information stays in your browser until you delete it. It is sent to us only when you submit a form, for example when you send your event shortlist or a quotation request. On the event page, scanning a QR code or adding or submitting a shortlist item sends the random session identifier, the action, the page and the time to our event measurement service (Supabase), as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party content
Some pages contain content from other providers. These providers set their own cookies or similar technologies only when you use their content:
- YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube stores information in your browser only after you play a video. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Vimeo videos: when you play a video. See the Vimeo Privacy Policy.
- Calendly booking: when you open or use the meeting booking tool. See the Calendly Privacy Notice.
- HubSpot meetings: when you open or use the meeting scheduler. See the HubSpot Privacy Policy.
Links to KakaoTalk, LINE, WhatsApp, Naver Map, Kakao Map, Google Maps and TMAP open those services directly. We do not place cookies for them. Once you open a link, the provider's own cookie and privacy rules apply.
Some website scripts are delivered from cdnjs.cloudflare.com. This service receives your IP address and browser information so that it can deliver the files. It does not place cookies for us.
6. Your choices
- Cookie banner: accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies when the banner appears.
- Your privacy choices: use Your privacy choices to opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, Shopify treats it as an opt-out request for that browser and device, depending on where you are.
- Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies and clear local storage ("site data") in your browser settings. Deleting cookies also deletes your banner choice, so the banner will appear again. If you block essential cookies, the cart and checkout will not work.
