Product Information & Claims Notice

This notice explains how to read the product, formula and ingredient information on this website, and who is responsible for the regulatory status of a finished product.

1. Technical information for business evaluation

Formula pages, ingredient descriptions, product concepts, test summaries, certifications and indicative commercial figures (such as minimum order quantities and lead times) are technical and commercial information for businesses evaluating a manufacturing project with Hansolbio. This information:

  • is not consumer advertising and must not be copied into consumer advertising or labels without your own review;
  • is not an offer to sell a finished retail product;
  • is not a regulatory approval and does not guarantee that a formula can be marketed in any particular country.

The final formula, specifications, quantities, prices and lead times are agreed only in a written quotation or manufacturing agreement.

2. Cosmetic use only

All descriptions refer to cosmetic use, such as cleansing, moisturising and caring for the skin and hair, and to their appearance. They do not state or imply that a product diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates or prevents any disease, or that it affects the structure or function of the body. No product on this website is offered as a drug or a medical device. Hansolbio does not provide medical advice.

3. Responsibilities of the brand owner

The company that places a finished product on the market under its own brand (the brand owner, or the responsible person or importer it appoints) is responsible, in each market where the product is sold, for:

  • the final wording of all product claims and the evidence that substantiates them;
  • the final label, including language, ingredient list, warnings and responsible-person details;
  • product registration or notification, for example CPNP notification in the European Union, product listing under MoCRA in the United States, and review or report of functional cosmetics to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) in Korea, and any equivalent requirement elsewhere;
  • safety assessment, adverse-event reporting and recalls where the law of that market requires them.

Ingredient restrictions, permitted concentrations and the classification of a product differ between markets. A formula that is a cosmetic in one country may be restricted or regulated differently in another. Any documentation or testing support that Hansolbio provides is defined in the written quotation or manufacturing agreement.

4. Claims, certifications and test results

  • Terms such as vegan, clean, natural, organic, hypoallergenic or dermatologically tested are used only in the sense of the standard, test or certificate stated with them.
  • A certificate held by a manufacturing site applies to that site and to the scope stated on the certificate. It does not by itself certify a product, a claim or another site.
  • Test results relate to the formula version and conditions tested. They may not apply to a modified formula, a different package or other conditions of use.
  • Copies of certificates or summary test data can be requested at sales@hansolbio.com. Availability depends on confidentiality and on the project.

5. Samples

Sample kits (one kit of 5 bottles of 7–10 ml per formula) are free and are supplied to businesses for evaluation only; a handling and packing fee of US$20 per formula and shipping apply, both shown before payment at checkout. Samples are development samples. Colour, fragrance, texture and stability may differ from the final production batch. They are not labelled for retail sale, are marked "sample - not for resale" and must not be resold or distributed to consumers.

Fragrance (perfume) samples are currently not shipped. Fragrance pages are for information only.

When handling or testing a sample:

  • for external use only; do a patch test before applying to a larger area of skin;
  • avoid contact with the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with water;
  • stop use and consult a specialist if redness, swelling, itching or other irritation appears during or after use, including after exposure to direct sunlight;
  • do not apply to broken or damaged skin;
  • keep out of reach of children, and store closed, away from direct sunlight and heat;
  • if you have known allergies, ask us for the ingredient list before use.
