The bubbles went straight to her head, and so did he.
The opening is effervescent: bright fruit with a fizzing, sherbet-like lift, the scent of a glass poured too quickly. It makes people smile before they know why. As the sparkle settles a floral heart comes through, fresh and slightly sweet, with a powdery softness that turns the bubbles into something you could rest your cheek on. The amber underneath is light and warm, more glow than weight, and it carries the powder and the flowers into a dry-down that feels like the end of a good afternoon: flushed, soft, and not quite ready to go home. It is a crush in both senses of the word. Ask her tomorrow which one she meant.
