Late afternoon on a beach that has been in the sun since morning. The opening is juicy and golden: ripe stone fruit with a soft, watery freshness. It is bright without being sharp. As it settles a floral heart comes forward, solar flowers with a waxy, tropical sweetness, the kind that stays on your fingers after you have touched them. The dry-down is the reason you will remember it: a lactonic, milky softness like sun cream on warm skin that lasts until long after dark. Someone folds the towel and carries it home, and the scent goes with it.
