The opening is fruit with a golden cast, ripe and slightly candied, apricot-like in warmth rather than citrus-bright, the sweetness of fruit left in the sun. The heart is floral amber in its most flattering form: full, honeyed flowers over a soft resinous base, a scent that seems to carry its own lighting. The dry-down is where the edible side settles in, a caramel-tinged warmth without heaviness, close to the skin, lasting into the small hours. She crosses the room slowly. Everyone has time to look.
