It opens crisp and outdoors, the way a hillside smells at noon: clean aromatic herbs with a cool green edge that reads almost like a shave. Then the temperature changes. Warm resins rise through the herbs, sweet and balsamic without being sugary, and the composition turns from a garden into a study with the windows open. In the dry-down the woods take over, dry and quietly smoky, carrying the amber for hours on cloth and skin.
