The powder is bitter, the spice is warm, and the cup is somehow cold.
It starts like a spice market and ends like a tea garden, and the distance between them is the point. The opening is coriander seed, peppery and faintly floral, with cardamom, green and camphorous, and a mint accord that cools everything it touches. It is a strange, bracing first minute, a chai made with the wrong tea. Then the heart resolves it. Matcha, vegetal and creamy and a little bitter, meets a cyclamen accord, watery and fresh, and a rose from Symrose, a captive that gives a clean, dewy, almost transparent rose without the jam. The spice retreats into the leaf. The mint becomes the cold of the water it was whisked in. Beneath, cedarwood, dry and clean, keeps the whole thing on the table. You take a second sip to check what you tasted the first time. It has already changed.
Imagine it as
Starting points for a branda spiced-green body mist and shower gel for a Southeast Asian body-care brand.
a cooling scalp shampoo and hair mist for a men's grooming line.
a hand cream and hand wash for a modern tea-house retail range.
